We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above. We will share information when necessary to assist us in servicing your accounts, to comply with properly executed court orders, to a credit bureau or similar information reporting agency or if you request or permit it.

We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you with our affiliate insurance agency which provides financial and related services. We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law. We do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

Service Provider/Joint Marketing

We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. Any disclosure of your nonpublic personal information with these companies or financial institutions is governed by contractual safeguards in each agreement to protect the confidentiality of this information.

We are committed to upholding our pledge to maintain security of our customers’ personal and account information. To ensure such information is used only in the manner we have described in this notice, we restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to maintain the confidentiality of the information we collect and to guard against its unauthorized access.

How To Limit Information Sharing

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information that is not publicly available, such as your income, your account history with us, and your credit score with our insurance affiliate, you may limit our insurance affiliate from marketing their products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. Each customer must tell us his or her individual preference.

Your choice to limit marketing offers from our insurance affiliate will apply until you tell us to change your choice. If you have already made a choice to limit marketing offers from our insurance affiliate, you do not need to act again unless you wish to revoke your initial choice.

To limit (opt out) marketing offers,

  1. You may call anytime toll-free to our Call Center at 1-866-668-4700 (Hamilton and Marion Counties, call 668-4700).
     
  2. You may visit your nearest branch and speak with your First Volunteer banker.
     
  3. You may go to www.firstvolunteer.com and use the Comments Box on the Contact Us form to opt out via our secure online form.
