Each spring and fall First Volunteer Bankers leave their offices and head back to school as instructors. They join thousands of other bankers across the country as they participate in the American Bankers Associations’ Teach Children to Save and Get Smart About Credit educational programs.
In the spring your FVB bankers teach elementary school students across eastern/middle Tennessee and Northwest Georgia about the importance of saving. This year the Bank will kick off the Teach Children to Save initiative in late April and will be in classrooms over the next two weeks. If you would like First Volunteer Bankers to teach in your school, please contact your local First Volunteer office or call us at (866)668-4700.
In the fall the bankers head to middle and high schools with the Get Smart About Credit curriculum.
If you are in a geographical area served by First Volunteer Bank and would like our bankers to teach in your school, contact your local First Volunteer office or our Customer Care Center at (866)668-4700.
